The Non-Profit Organization “SciCo” (hereinafter referred to as “SciCo” or the “Organization”) operates the website www.scico.gr. The use of the website and its content are subject to these Terms of Use, which also constitute the agreement with regard to the use of the website, between the Organization and any person who visits it (regardless of the further communication with the Organization through the special form of communication), hereinafter referred to as the “User” or “Users”. Each User who enters the Organization’s website and make use of it, confirms and expressly and unconditionally accepts the following Terms of Use set by  the Organization. If a User does not agree with these Terms of Use, he/she must refrain from further use of the website. Furthermore, please read carefully a) our Privacy Notice, which sets out the terms on which we may process any personal data we collect from you during your use of this website, or that you voluntarily provide to us through an email or a  telephone communication as well as b) our Cookie Statement, which sets out information about the cookies used on our website. The above items apply in addition to the following Terms of Use and govern the use of the Website by any User.

Accessing or using this website implies that you accept these Terms of Use and that you are at least 18 years or older, or if you are under the age of 18, you have obtained the necessary consent from the person having the parental responsibility. This website has been created for your personal entertainment, information, education and communication. You may not use the material displayed on this website for commercial but for personal use only, provided that you also comply with all intellectual and industrial property rights in the material contained on the site. Therefore, it is expressly prohibited any copying, analog / digital recording and mechanical reproduction, distribution, transmission, storage, processing, reproduction, transmission, distribution, sale, resale, publication, performance, translated or modified in any way, communication, dissemination, creating derivative work or misleading the public about the actual provider of the content of this site. Note that when “downloading” anything from the website of Organization, this is provided to you by the Organization in the form of a temporary license is subject to revocation at any time.

All trademarks, distinctive features, product names, company names, graphics, images and logos representing the Organization branded website are the Organization’s exclusive trademarks, protected by the relevant national, international and European trademark law.  Their appearance in the website should in no way be construed as a transfer or assignment of a license or right to use them.

The Organization shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the quality, the completeness and the validity of the information provided in its website, concerning  Organization’s identity as well as the existence of material characteristics described as appropriate for every service that  the Organization provides, subject to any technical or typographical errors which were caused due to lack of attention or unintentionally or due to any interruptions of the website operation due to force majeure.   

The Organization provides the content (e.g. information, names, photographs, certifications, illustrations) of the services presented through its website “just as they are” without any form of guarantee, express or implied, including in particular any implied warranties of commercial exploitation or suitability for a specific purpose.  

The use of and browsing the website shall be at your own risk. Neither the Organization nor any of its executives, directors, employees, representatives, etc., involved in the creation, production or delivery of the website, shall be liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect damages or losses arising from your access to or the use of the website. The Organization shall in no case be liable for any technical issues occurring to the Users when attempting to access Organization’s website or during accessing the website and are related to the operation or compatibility of their infrastructure with the use of the website. 

The Organization shall make every possible effort for the proper functioning of its Network. However, in no case does the Organization guarantee that the operation of its servers’ website and/or third websites transmitting its content shall be uninterrupted and or orderly, free of viruses and similar elements. Thus, the Organization shall bear no liability for any damages which might be caused to the Users of the website or to third parties and are related to the operation of the aforementioned. 

In any case, the Organization reserves the right at any time to temporarily or permanently discontinue the operation of all or part of the website for maintenance or upgrading purposes or for any reason, without any further liability.

The Organization provides you with these links only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement of this website and its content by the Organization.Your browsing through these websites  is solely at your own risk. – are unsafe or inaccurate, incomplete or misleading; and/or

The Organization explicitly states that it is not required to check the security and content of third party websites, however it is entitled at any time to discontinue access to any third party website if it becomes aware of any event that, in its judgment, is inconsistent with applicable law and present terms.

User’s Obligations & Liability 

Users agree that they will make reasonable and appropriate use of the Organization’s website and that they will comply with the Policies posted to and/or foreseen in the applicable law.

Users are solely responsible for the use of Organization’s website and for any damage that may be caused to him or any third party due to, or in connection with the above use, as well as to compensate the Organization for any claim raised by any third party as a result of the use of the Organization’s website.

In case of any use unlawful or inconsistent with these terms and the applicable legal framework by a User, the latter shall indemnify the Organization for any positive and/or consequential damages have occurred from the abovementioned to us.
